Anthony Mave, 46, of San Clemente was arrested in Newport Beach on January 6, 2012 after he was found in possession of 24 pounds of "high-grade" marijuana.
On the same day of Mave's arrest, the police had a search warrant which revealed a complex marijuana growing operation. About 300 pounds of marijuana plants, four pounds of cultivated marijuana, and cash was found and seized.
Christopher E. Go, 24, was arrested at the residence, which was believed to be his home, on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and the illegal cultivation of marijuana.
On the same day, the police made yet another arrest of Christy McAllister on suspicion of selling marijuana to detectives back in December of 2011. The arrest led detectives to a commercial building in the Huntington Beach area where another marijuana growing operation was busted and nine more pounds of high grade marijuana seized.
All these arrests and bust were a result of a month long investigation. There was a total of five arrests and more than $200,000 worth of marijuana seized.
